ADOPTED RESOLUTION COMMENDING DONNA FULLER, FOR THE “BARBARA FANNING MEMORIAL EMPLOYEE OF THE QUARTER AWARD” OCTOBER-DECEMBER 1999

WHEREAS, Donna Fuller of the state Department of Education’s Office of Technology Initiatives, exhibits a positive attitude and represents the state Department of Education in a most professional manner; and
 
WHEREAS, she does an excellent job in whatever area assigned and has also been a major contributor to the success of projects in other sections within the department and has suggested timesaving measures in completing tasks; and
 
WHEREAS, she has done outstanding work with the Alabama Educational Technology Conference and the success of this Conference is due, in part, to her efforts; and
 
WHEREAS, she was assigned to work with the Milken Family Foundation National Educator Awards Program and is assuming responsibility for the Emphasis on Reading Award beginning this year; and
 
WHEREAS, she seldom misses work and can be counted on to stay late, arrive early and work extra days to meet project deadlines, and she consistently goes the extra mile to make sure that her work is accurate, precise and ahead of schedule;
 
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the Alabama State Board of Education does hereby commend Donna Fuller for her selection as the recipient of the “Barbara Fannin Memorial Employee of the Quarter Award” for October-December 1999, and expresses its appreciation for her exemplary service to the department, to this board and, ultimately, to the students of Alabama’s public elementary and secondary schools.
