Behavior Support Plan Form.pdfBehavior Support Plan (BSP) Purpose
When an IEP team determines that a student has "behavior impeding learning", "strategies, including positive behavioral interventions, strategies and supports" must be specified in the IEP and teachers given a copy of what interventions they are required to implement in accordance with the IEP team's decision. This BSP can be an IEP attachment for this purpose, can serve as a plan for a student requiring behavior support in a 504 plan, as a pre-referral intervention component of a student support team, or simply for staff working with students with no known or suspected disabilities who require team efforts to address their behavior.
